ABOUT US

4 Love of the Game was developed by four Muscogee (Creek) citizens from Oklahoma, Victor Bear, David Pascale, Lucas Taylor, and B.J. Waggnor, targeting and benefitting Native American youth in rural Oklahoma, with aspirations of a nationwide impact. 4 Love of the Game’s main focus is to develop activities that will help build character in Native American youth, give them a focal point to strive for academic excellence, provide a deterrent to alcohol and drug use/abuse, restore pride in Native American heritage, foster a healthy lifestyle and ultimately help Native American youth succeed in the game of life.

Since its inception in 2005, 4 Love of the Game has been based in Henryetta, Oklahoma. 4 Love of the Game utilizes athletic activities for the basis of generating the foundation of the organization. Historically, Native Americans have always been athletic. Whether is was during times of war, or hunting to provide food and insuring the very existence of their people, Native Americans have always possessed a competitive spirit deep within. By targeting these characteristics, 4 Love of the Game continues to be successful!

4 Love of the Game has, and will always, continue to approach this endeavor with a drive to never be content! This attitude had allowed 4 Love of the Game to create programs that provide: financial assistance to individuals or groups with educational needs, alcohol/drug awareness/prevention activities, life skills training, athletic equipment, instructional and exposure camps, and team sponsorships.

4 Love of the Game will continue to strive toward empowering Native American youth, families and communities with the ability and insight to create a safe and healthy environment so Native American youth can reach their highest potential and pursue all their dreams!
